This salsa includes the delicious warm fall flavour of cinnamon making it a perfect snack or dessert.

Strawberry Cinnamon Salsa

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs. California Strawberries finely diced
  • 2 Bartlett Pears peeled, cored and finely diced
  • 2 Green delicious apples peeled, cored and finely diced
Strawberry Sauce
  • 6 California Strawberries
  • 1 tsp. 1 tsp. raw honey
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Method
 

  1. 1.Finely dice the California Strawberries, pears and apples.
  2. 2.Place the fruit in a medium-sized bowl and set aside.
  3. 3.In a small sauce pan on medium heat, add 6 California Strawberries along with the raw honey and cinnamon.
  4. 4.While the strawberries heat up, use a masher to create a strawberry sauce. This process should take 5 minutes on the stove top.
  5. 5.Turn off the heat and remove the pan from the heat and let it cool.
  6. 6.Once the sauce has cooled, pour it over the fresh fruit and mix well.
  7. 7.Enjoy this California Strawberry Cinnamon Salsa with cinnamon chips.
