Healthy Turnip Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large turnips
  • 1 tbs. arrowroot powder
  • 2 tbs. avocado oil
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dried parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425.
  2. Wash and peel the turnips. Slice into matchsticks.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the turnips, avocado oil, arrowroot powder and spices until evenly coated.
  4. Place the turnips on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until crispy. Flip halfway through.
  6. Optional: Broil for 5 minutes for extra crispy.
