Have you ever made chia seed pudding before?
Here’s what to do:
In a cup, combine 3-4 Tbs. of chia seeds with 1 cup of coconut milk (or other dairy-free milk)
I like to add in 1 tsp raw honey, ½ tsp. vanilla and 1 tbs. almond butter.
Let sit for 1-2 hours or prepare overnight so the seeds have time to thicken!
Top with your favourite berries and nuts!
Chia seeds are a great source of fibre – This is how they can absorb so much water. The fibre content will help with slowing the release of sugars from the meal, meaning energy for longer
They’re also a source of plant-based omega-3, and by weight are about 20% protein – making for one nutritious snack or breakfast!
This snack will remain fresh for a few days.
