Chocolate Avocado Pudding

I am a huge fan of avocados. I typically eat one a day by making guacamole, using it in salads and smoothies along with this delicious chocolate pudding! This recipe will help to curb your chocolate cravings without the guilt.

Why should you make your own pudding?

Fat-Free Chocolate Pudding Ingredients:

MODIFIED CORNSTARCH, COCOA, CORN MALTODEXTRIN, SODIUM PHOSPHATES, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOUR, SALT, COLOUR (CONTAINS TARTRAZINE), ASPARTAME (50 mg*; CONTAINS PHENYLALANINE), XANTHAN GUM, ACESULFAME-POTASSIUM (25 mg*), MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES.

Here is how to make a healthy chocolate pudding that is gluten, dairy, and refined sugar-free. The avocados offer a great source of healthy fat. This can also be made vegan by using dates instead of honey.

Chocolate Avocado Pudding

Ingredients
  

  • 4 avocados ripe
  • 1/2 cup cocoa organic, fair trade
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup or five dates
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients into your Vitamix or high powered blender.
  • Add more dairy-free milk if you would like the pudding thinner.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Top with berries, or nuts. (optional)
