I’m obsessed with this Crunchy Asian salad with lots of bright colours and big, fantastic flavours of sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and green onion. Seriously, I think I’ve made a batch a week for the past month, it’s that good.
Crunchy Asian Salad
Ingredients
- 1/2 nappa cabbage shredded
- 1/2 red cabbage shredded
- 3 carrots grated
- 3 green onions chopped
- 1 orange peeled into sections and chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 tbs. ginger grated
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup raw almonds or cashews toasted and chopped
Dressing
- 2 limes juiced
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1/2 cup sesame oil
- pinch salt & pepper
- red chili flakes optional
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all salad ingredients together. Mix well.
- In a small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients and mix will.
- Add protein of choice if you wish. Serve and enjoy!
