Crunchy Asian Salad

Make this easy Crunchy Asian Salad with Sesame Lime Dressing for a delicious side or pile on slices of grilled organic steak to make it a meal.  This is a fresh and vibrant salad without the processed junk and is sure to be a hit with your family!

I’m obsessed with this Crunchy Asian salad with lots of bright colours and big, fantastic flavours of sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and green onion. Seriously, I think I’ve made a batch a week for the past month, it’s that good.  

Crunchy Asian Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 nappa cabbage shredded
  • 1/2 red cabbage shredded
  • 3 carrots grated
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1 orange peeled into sections and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1 tbs. ginger grated
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds or cashews toasted and chopped

Dressing

  • 2 limes juiced
  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos
  • 1/2 cup sesame oil
  • pinch salt & pepper
  • red chili flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine all salad ingredients together. Mix well.
  • In a small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients and mix will.
  • Add protein of choice if you wish. Serve and enjoy!
