How To Make Coconut Milk Yogurt

This creamy, delicious and gut healing coconut milk yogurt is incredibly easy to make.

It is full of healthy satiating fats, great gut friendly probiotics and it is completely dairy-free!

Coconut Milk Yogurt

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (13oz) coconut milk
  • 1 Tbs. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. gelatin
  • 40 billion probiotics

Instructions
 

  • In a small sauce pan, bring the coconut milk to a simmer.
  • Add in the maple syrup and vanilla.
  • Turn off the heat and add in the gelatin. Whisk it very well until it has dissolved.
  • Leave the mixture out until it has come to room temp.
  • You may need to whisk it occasionally to prevent the gelatin from forming.
  • Next, empty the contents of your probiotic capsules. It should equal 40 billion CFU.
  • Combine well.
  • Pour the contents into a mason jar and place a lid on it.
  • Sit the jar on an electric heating pad on the lowest setting. You want it to be slightly warm not hot.
  • Bundle the jar up with a towel around it to keep the contents warm.
  • Let it sit for 12-24 hours.
  • Next, you may notice the contents to be quite thick. Give it a quick whisk and it will become creamy. Store in the fridge.
