Dairy-free Basil Pesto

Is it fresh basil season yet? I can’t wait to be able to pick some basil from my garden!

Want to make some dairy-free pesto? It’s super simple and my entire family can’t get enough of it. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Ingredients:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2 packages of fresh basil leaves⁣⁣
2-3 garlic cloves⁣⁣
3/4 cup olive oil⁣⁣
1/2 cup pecans, pine nuts or hemp hearts⁣⁣
juice of 1 lemon⁣⁣
salt & pepper to taste⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Directions:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. ⁣⁣
Top on warmed gluten-free pasta, zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash. ⁣⁣
