Healthy Turnip Fries

These delicious and healthy homemade oven-baked turnip fries are perfectly crispy, dairy-free, gluten-free, paleo, and loaded with flavour.

They are super crispy, so very tasty, and still healthy! Baked turnip fries can be tough to make taste as good as deep-fried fries with the same crispy, delicious texture, but these ones hit it out of the park.

I am a big french fry fan! I am excited to share this healthy alternative to deep-fried french fries.

Turnips are a member of the cruciferous family of vegetables, so they’re related to cancer-fighting veggies like broccoli, collard greens, cabbage, kale and Brussels sprouts. Like other cruciferous foods, turnips and turnip greens contain a type of phytonutrients called indoles that are known to reduce your risk for cancer, especially of the prostate, lungs, stomach and colon. High in calcium, magnesium and potassium, they’re also a heart-healthy food that supports balanced blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides.
