Probiotic Coconut Milk Yogurt

Ingredients
  

  • 13 oz full-fat coconut milk canned
  • 1 tbs. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. grass-fed gelatin
  • 40 billion CFU probiotics

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: In a small saucepan, bring 13 oz. of coconut milk to a simmer. Add 1 Tbs. maple syrup and 1/2 tsp. vanilla.⁣⁣
    Step 2: Turn off the heat and add 1 1/2 tsp. grass-fed gelatin. Whisk well. Let the mixture cool down so it is warm but not hot.⁣⁣
    Step 3: Pour the mixture into a mason jar. ⁣⁣
    Step 4: Empty the contents of @nutridomcanada’s 40 billion probiotic capsule into the warm mixture. Combine with a non-metal utensil.⁣
    ⁣Step 5: Cover the jar with a small towel. Place the jar in the oven OFF but with the light on. Let it sit in the oven for 18 hours. ⁣⁣Alternatively, you can place the lid on the jar and wrap it in a heating pad on low for the same duration of time.⁣⁣
    Step 6: Next, you may notice the contents to be quite thick. Give it a quick whisk and it will become creamy. Store in the fridge with the lid on for 2 weeks. ⁣⁣
    Step 7: Top with your favourite fruit or granola and enjoy!⁣
