This salsa includes the delicious warm fall flavour of cinnamon making it a perfect snack or dessert.

Strawberry Cinnamon Salsa

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs. California Strawberries finely diced
  • 2 Bartlett Pears peeled, cored and finely diced
  • 2 Green delicious apples peeled, cored and finely diced

Strawberry Sauce

  • 6 California Strawberries
  • 1 tsp. 1 tsp. raw honey
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • 1.Finely dice the California Strawberries, pears and apples.
  • 2.Place the fruit in a medium-sized bowl and set aside.
  • 3.In a small sauce pan on medium heat, add 6 California Strawberries along with the raw honey and cinnamon.
  • 4.While the strawberries heat up, use a masher to create a strawberry sauce. This process should take 5 minutes on the stove top.
  • 5.Turn off the heat and remove the pan from the heat and let it cool.
  • 6.Once the sauce has cooled, pour it over the fresh fruit and mix well.
  • 7.Enjoy this California Strawberry Cinnamon Salsa with cinnamon chips.
