Preheat the oven to 350.
In a large pot on medium heat, add the onions, garlic and celery stalks and cook to soften. Approx. 10 minutes.
Line a baking sheet and place the asparagus down. Drizzle avocado oil over top. Cook for 15 minutes in the oven to soften and to add flavour.
Next, add the broth and coconut milk to the large pot and bring to a simmer. Approx. 10 minutes.
Carefully pour the mixture into a highspeed blender. Add in the cooked asparagus, hemp hearts, spinach, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth
