Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients together with the exception of the date sugar.
- In a second bowl, combine the wet ingredients together along with the date sugar.
- Combine the wet into the dry bowl.
- Toast the coconut flakes.
- Grease two donut pans with coconut oil.
- Scoop the batter into the pans.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 15 minutes. Use a toothpick to check that they are cooked through.
- Leave out to cool completely.
- Once cooled, carefully remove them from the pan and dip them into the melted chocolate.
- Dip the donuts into the coconut flakes and let the chocolate harden.
Notes
*It is best to add the date sugar to the wet ingredients for added moisture.
