Strawberry Chia Jam

This healthy strawberry chia jam will quickly become your go-to morning spread because it’s super healthy and doesn’t have added sugar!




Why are chia seeds so dang good? ⁣

Here are the deets:

Chia seeds are loaded with fibre, protein and healthy omega-3 fats! ⁣




Are you excited to make this strawberry jam now?! ⁣

Here is how to do it:

Ingredients:⁣
3 cups fresh or frozen strawberries (or another berry of choice)⁣
3 Tbs. chia seeds⁣
2 Tbs. freshly squeezed lemon ⁣

Directions:⁣

In a saucepan, add the berries on medium heat until they begin to bubble. ⁣

Using a fork, mash the berries to desired consistency. ⁣

Turn off the heat and add in the chia seeds and lemon juice. Mix well until combined. ⁣

Let the jam sit for 15 minutes to thicken up. ⁣

Store in the fridge for a week and enjoy some gluten-free/grain-free toast! ⁣
