The fall season is close and what I love most about it is the amazing smell of spices in my kitchen when I bake something. Cinnamon is probably my favourite spice and in combination with apples and almond butter, it just tastes heavenly. That’s why I had to make these delicious Cinnamon Apple Plantain Crepes which are seriously a must-have dessert for fall and the holiday season.
These delicious Cinnamon Apple Crepes with coconut kefir are vegan, gluten-free, paleo and easy to make.
Apple Filling
The filling consists of sweet apples, cinnamon, and almond butter. You could also add raisins or coconut flakes if you like. Pumpkin spice or allspice is also a nice addition. You simply need to chop the apples, add all ingredients to a pan or skillet and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Plantain Crepes
The crepes are incredibly easy to make and can be made in a high-speed blender like a Vitamix.
These apple cinnamon crepes are:
- Vegan (egg-free, dairy-free)
- Gluten-free
- Perfect for fall and the holiday season
